COMMUNICATIONS AND WORK PLAN OVERVIEW <br />The Recreation /Senior Center and Aquatics Expansion Study will be developed September 2015 through July 2016. <br />Public outreach, events, and other engagement activities will occur throughout the plan development. The <br />Recreation /Senior Center and Aquatics Facility Expansion Study and associated communications efforts are comprised of <br />four main phases. <br />• Phase 1: August- October 2015 1 Involve & Collaborate <br />Focus on initiating the study, developing an inventory of existing conditions and an analysis of future <br />opportunities. <br />• Phase 2: November 2015- January 2016 1 Envision & Analyze <br />Visioning process with broad involvement from citizens to establish a unified vision to determine community <br />demand and to guide the design process. <br />• Phase 3: February -May 2016 1 Inform & Involve <br />Develop Expansion Options and Associated Expenses, then revisit public outreach to receive feedback on <br />proposals. <br />• Phase 4: June -July 2016 1 Implement & Adopt <br />Determine funding options and strategies to implement update plans and present to City Council for final <br />consideration. <br />Throughout the process, the study's team will circulate a consistent set of ideas, questions, and choices throughout the <br />community using the various outreach tactics for input and comment. <br />3 1 Recreation /Senior Center & Aquatic Facilities Expansion Study Comm Plan Revised 1.4.16 <br />20 <br />
