for '95, '96, and '97 in total and
still not quite have enough. We're
going to have to look at other
funding sources, as they arrive.
The 3/8% is a potential for the
acquisition of the land. The
increased sales tax revenue from the
new shopping centers on McCaslin
are, also, a potential for the land
and for the park development. We
can't include those in a five year
budget, because they haven't
actually happened.

Sisk:

Can we then delete the question of
successful passage and indicate that
other alternatives may be available
for viable funding bases?

Mayer stated that without the passage of the 3/8% sales tax, the
community park is unlikely to come about in the foreseeable future.

Lathrop:

We're spending almost $2 million on
a ballfield complex. The
State is going to have to jump in at
some point and address the issue. I
think the 96th Street interchange
and U.S. 36 is going to force us to
address that issue. I'm suggesting
that we start spending some money to
address 96th Street and how it gets
through Louisville.

Davidson:

If someone wants to suggest that we
spend money on a study, you'll have
to suggest a specific amount and
we'll consider that.

Howard:

(INAUDIBLE)

Lathrop stated that $5,000 would probably tell Council the
extent ....

Phare:

If you were to do a full blown
corridor analysis, you could easily
be spending $50,000. If you want to
just look at some particular issues,
$5,000, $10,000 would work. But, if
