City Council <br />Meeting Minutes <br />January 5, 2016 <br />Page 15 of 15 <br />seconded by Council member Keany. All were in favor. Absent: Mayor Pro Tem <br />Lipton. <br />CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT <br />City Attorney Light voiced his appreciation to the City Council for his reappointment as <br />City Attorney. He reported sending a communication to Council regarding litigation <br />matters and inquired whether City Council members received those reports. <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS, COMMITTEE REPORTS, AND IDENTIFICATION OF <br />FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS <br />Council member Loo stated the BRaD Committee is re- evaluating the BAP program. <br />They feel it is a good time to re- examine the process, the successes and possibilities for <br />doing it better. They will be working on that process in the upcoming year and present a <br />report to the City Council. <br />Council member Stolzmann reported the DRCOG Governance Committee looks at <br />intemal government bodies' regulations. They want to eliminate the DRCOG Metro <br />Vision Committee and tum it into a Study session. This will create more regionalism <br />and people will have a better grasp of what is being voted on. She noted there will be <br />two meetings per month for members. <br />Council member Keany reported the Historical Commission will meet on January 6th at <br />the Library at 6:30 p.m. and the Youth Advisory Board will meet January 7th at 6:30 p.m. <br />at the Library. He asked staff make those changes on the Web Site. He announced the <br />Ribbon cutting ceremony for the Diverging Diamond and the Flatiron Flyers is January <br />7th The City Council will meet with the state legislators on January 8, at 7:30 a.m. at <br />the Louisville Library. <br />Council member Loo commented on the Open Govemment Pamphlet and noted how <br />foresighted the authors were. <br />ADJOURN <br />MOTION: Mayor Muckle moved for adjoumment, seconded by Council member Leh.
