April <br />8th Annual Family Fishing Frenzy <br />When: Friday, April 15th from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm <br />Where: Warembourg Fishing Pond <br />Presented by: Colorado Parks and Wildlife and the Louisville Parks & Recreation Department <br />Hosted by: City of Louisville Parks and Recreation Department <br />RSVP: Two session start times are available, 9 am or 11 am. Register at <br />http: / /www.louisvillerecreation.com/ program number 16999 -1 (9:00 session) or 16999 -2 <br />(11:00 session). <br />Appropriate Audience: Ages 5 -15. Children must bear ..i anied by an adult. <br />Bring your kids and your fishing gear and head on d "i; to the Warembourg fishing pond for a <br />fishing clinic sponsored by Colorado Parks and Wildlife and the Louisville Parks & Recreation <br />Department. Topics to be covered will include knots, casting, fish habitat, fish handling, laws <br />and more. Once making it through all of the educational stations you will be given your very <br />own children's fishing pole! Fishing licenses are require arents and children over the age <br />of 15. Space is limited so pleaake sure to register! <br />If you are interested in volunteer) for tthis event, the Parks and Recreation Department would <br />love your help! Please contact Catherine Jepson at Catherine) @louisvilleco.gov or 303 -335- <br />4742 to sign up t <br />Bird Walk on Coal Creek Golf Course <br />When: TBD <br />Where: Coal Creek Golf Course (meet at G. ourse Clubhouse, Dillon Road) <br />Presented by: City of Louisville Open Space D lion <br />Appropriate Audience: Ages 12 and up <br />Join experienced birder Paula Hansley for a relaxed bird walk. Learn to identify our local <br />bird species by sight and sound. April is an excellent time to see breeding birds and spring <br />migrants. We may see anything from a western meadowlark to a house wren to a blue <br />grosbeak. Learn some of the basics on how to observe and identify birds. Please bring <br />binoculars if you have them. <br />Space is limited so participants must RSVP by 5:00 pm on (date) to <br />Catherine) @louisvilleco.gov or 303 - 335 -4735. <br />3 <br />Additional Educational Programming may be added as program locations and dates become <br />available.
