Howard accepted that. Seconder, Sisk, accepted that.

Davidson called for further Council discussion.

NONE

Roll call was taken.
being absent.

Motion passed by a 6 - 0 vote with Lathrop

ORDINANCE NO. 1132, SERIES 1993 - VACATING A PORTION OF FRONT
STREET LOCATED IN THESOUTHEAST 1/4 OF SECTION 8, TOWNSHIP i SOUTH,
RANGE 69 WEST OF THE 6TH P.M. WITHIN THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE,
COLORADO - 1ST READING - SET PUBLIC HEARING 11/16/93

Griffiths read by title only Ordinance No. 1132, Series 1993, "An
ordinance vacating a portion of Front Street located in the
southeast 1/4 of section 8, Township 1 south, Range 69 west of the
6th P.M. within the city of Louisville, Colorado."

Paul Wood, Planning Director, stated that this request is by John
Hickman and Narain Schroeder. He explained that Front Street is
currently a 60' right-of-way as it intersects County Road 124. It
would eliminate the intersection of Front Street and County Road
and replace that with a cul-de-sac extending directly at the end of
Front Street, which would provide frontage to those residential
lots. The remaining 20' of right-of-way will be retained for a
pedestrian connection to County Road. The Planning Commission
approved the vacation by Resolution No. 24 with four conditions
(SEE ATTACHED). The four conditions have been met, with the
vesting of that property being totally to one side. None of the
right-of-way would rest to the property owner to the east and
south. The applicant has agreed to remove existing curb, gutter,
and pavement, and construct sidewalk and landscaping within the
right-of-way. The Front Court subdivision will be coming before
the Planning Commission on November 30, 1993 at a special meeting.

Davidson called for Council comments or questions.

NONE

Sisk moved that Council place Ordinance No. 1132, Series 1993, out
for publication and set the public hearing for November 16, 1993.
Seconded by Howard.

Susan Griffiths, City Attorney, suggested delaying the 2nd reading
until the hearing on the Front Court PUD.

Sisk amended his motion to: "set the public hearing for December
7, 1993." Howard, seconder, agreed.

Davidson called for any further comments on the motion.

9
