Refer to Section 4.3 Vulnerability Assessment for detailed vulnerability to the flood hazard. Due to the historical coal mining in the area subsidence of the land surface is a concern in Louisville. Other hazards that could impact Louisville include dam failure, drought, hailstorm, earthquake, extreme heat, lightning, tornado, windstorm, West Nile Virus and Pandemic Flu. 316
