ORDINANCE NO. 1134, SERIES 1993 - CLARIFYING CERTAIN WATER AND SEWER TAP FEES - 2ND READING - PUBLIC HEARING (PUBL. LSVL. TIMES 11/6/93 ) Griffiths read by title only Ordinance No. 1134, Series 1993, "An ordinance clarifying certain water and sewer tap fees." Susan Griffiths, City Attorney, stated that this ordinance clarifies wording to ensure that the fees, which are addressed within the ordinance continue into effect after January 1, 1994. Hornbostel opened the public hearing calling for anyone wishing to speak in favor or against Ordinance No. 1134, Series 1993. NONE Hornbostel closed the public hearing. Sisk moved that Council approve Ordinance No. 1134, Series 1993, on 2nd and final reading. Seconded by Howard. Roll call was taken. Motion passed by a 6 - 0 vote with Mayor Davidson being absent. RESOLUTION NO. 41, SERIES 1993 - AMENDING THE 1993 BUDGET BY INCREASING REVENUES, APPROPRIATIONS, AND RESERVES IN THE GENERAL, CONSERVATION TRUST, AND CAPITAL PROJECTS FUNDS FOR THE CITY OF LOUISVI?Wm - PUBLIC HEARING (PUBL. LSVL. TIMES 11/6/93) Sharon Asti-Caranci, Finance Director, stated that this resolution will amend the 1993 budget for the following reasons: 1.) 2.) Unanticipated revenues not assured at the time of budget adoption: (Additional sales/use tax, bond proceeds, lottery proceeds, and court fines.) To appropriate funds for additional authorized 1993 projects. Establishing non-emergency reserves per "Amendment One." Asti-Caranci went on to review the resolution. Hornbostel opened the public hearing calling for anyone wishing to speak in favor or against the amendments to the budget. NONE Hornbostel called for Council comments or questions. NONE Howard moved that Council adopt Resolution No. 41, Series 1993, budget amendment. Seconded by Sisk. Roll call was taken. Motion passed by a 6 - 0 vote with Mayor Davidson being absent.
