Hall on Saturday, November 27, and at the Recreation Center on <br />Wednesday, December 1, to receive comments and answer questions. <br />Notices of the meetings were published in the Louisville Times. <br /> <br />Davidson opened the informal public hearing calling for anyone in <br />the audience wishing to speak on the City of Louisville Curb <br />Replacement Plan. <br /> <br />Pat Hornbostel, ADA Advisory Board member, 655 West Hawthorn, <br />Louisville, Colorado, pointed out that even at the rate this is <br />proceeding, Louisville will not be in compliance with ADA by the <br />1995 requirement. He commented that, when the plan was completed, <br />he will have lived in Louisville for 18 years. He stated that on <br />that basis it's about $30,000/year in curb replacements that was <br />being requested, which he didn't feel was an outrageous amount. <br /> <br />Carolyn Markham, ADA Advisory Board member, 1315 Franklin Avenue, <br />Louisville, Colorado, felt that this was a very reasonable plan. <br />She explained that her son, Rick Markham, had been confined to a <br />wheelchair all of his life, so she understands the needs. <br /> <br />Davidson called for anyone else in the audience wishing to speak on <br />this item. <br /> <br />NONE <br /> <br />Davidson closed the informal public hearing and called for Council <br />co~ents or questions. <br /> <br />Sisk asked Paul Wood, Planning Director, to get together with Tom <br />Phare, Public Works Director, to make sure that all future <br />construction in Louisville be in compliance with the ADA. <br /> <br />Davidson called for further comments. <br /> <br />NONE <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1131, SERIES 1993 - AMENDING TITLE 17 OF THE <br />LOUISVITW~ MUNICIPAL CODE ENTITLED "ZONING" BY REZONING CERTAIN <br />PROPERTY LOCATED SOUTH OF WALNUT STREET EXTENDED, APPROXIMATELY <br />150' WEST OF MCKINLEY AVENUE AND CURRENTLY ZONED RL - RESIDENTIAL <br />LOW DENSITY (BEATON) - 2ND READING - PUBLIC HEARING (PUBL. LSVL. <br />TI~S 11/4/93) <br /> <br />Griffiths read by title only Ordinance No. 1131, Series 1993, "An <br />ordinance amending Title 17 of the Louisville Municipal Code <br />entitled "Zoning" by rezoning certain property located south of <br />Walnut Street extended, approximately 150' west of McKinley Avenue <br />and[ currently zoned RL - Residential Low Density." <br /> <br />Paul Wood, Planning Director, commented that the applicants are <br />requesting that this .11 acre parcel be rezoned to R-R, Rural <br /> <br /> <br />
