OTHER; <br />TELEVISING COUNCIL MEETINGS - <br />TV-17 <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS <br />Tim Griffin then add'~ressed Council concerning the <br />cable broadcasts of the Council meeting, stating <br />that this meeting represents the end of the trial <br />contract between they Council and Mr. Griffin's <br />broadcasting group. The Council meetings, besides <br />being broadcast live on Tuesday evenings, are also <br />being recorded, and re-run on Thursdays, for the <br />convenience of the viewing public. Griffin <br />invited the Council to view the taped broadcast <br />the following Thursday, and consider extending the <br />contract for a full year. <br />Szymanski spoke about the problem of <br />misadvertisement of the time of the broadcast. <br />Griffin explained that this was a misunderstanding <br />with the newspapers. He went on to say that the <br />issue has been cleared up and that the broadcasts <br />are being advertised in the Louisville Times, and <br />the Daily Camera. <br />Fauson suggested <br />broadcasting for <br />Council decide at <br />the broadcasts. <br />None <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS AND COMMITTEE <br />that Griffin's group continue <br />the next meeting, and that the <br />that time whether to continue <br />REPORTS Anderson spoke about the meeting to be held on <br />Wednesday, March 16, at Coal Creek Elementary to <br />discuss boundaries a:nd School allocations. A <br />copy of the proposal was given to Wanush for <br />Council discussion ait a later date. Anderson also <br />stated that he had been appointed Vice-Chair of <br />the Consortium of Ciities. Anderson went on to say <br />that the Consortium';s CDBG Review Team saw three <br />grant proposals: The Louisville/Lafayette Drug <br />Project, a Special Transit System proposal, and a <br />9 <br />
