At this point, 67 applications have been received <br />with the closing date being April 8th. He asked <br />if Council wished to form a committee to bring <br />down the number of applications to a workable <br />number. Another option is to consider hiring Mr. <br />Buechner to assist in the process. <br />Szymanski expressed concern regarding the lack of <br />process undertaken t:o date regarding the selection <br />of the City Administrator and what criteria <br />Council wants to establish and the time table to <br />select a manager. <br />Mayor Fauson stated that during a Work Session <br />Council did discuss the criteria that Council <br />wanted to use to find a manager. He also felt <br />that until the deadline for applications has been <br />met, there was little Council could do. <br />Szymanski stated that a Work Session should be <br />established to discuss this issue in depth. <br />Council asked that M.r. Buechner be considered in <br />the process and find out what his cost would be to <br />conduct the process totally or in part. <br />Mayor Fauson and Wanush were asked to follow <br />through on this request. <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS None. <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS AND COMMITTEE <br />REPORTS None. <br />ADJOURNMENT With no further business, Mayor Fauson moved that <br />the meeting adjourn ,and Council move into a Work <br />Session.
