CITY OF LOUISVILLE <br />MAY 3, 1988 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING <br />The City Council of the City of Louisville mE~t in Regular Session in the <br />Council Chambers, 749 Main Street, Louisville, Colorado. Mayor Fauson <br />called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and the following persons were <br />present: <br />Councilmembers: Randy Carnival, Steve Anderson, Bob Szymanski, <br />John Sackett, and A:Lan Scarpella <br />Staff present: Rich Wanush, Acting City Administrator <br />Steve Williamson, City Attorney <br />Rod Leesman, Director of Public Safety <br />Sharon Asti-Caranci, Director of Financial Services <br />Larry Lillo, Director of Community Services <br />Tom Phare, Director of Public Works <br />Also present: Pam Ferris, City Clerk <br />William Hesson, Treasurer <br />Absent: Councilman Mike Mohr <br />APPROVAL OF THE <br />AGENDA <br />Mayor Fauson asked for any changes to the Agenda. <br /> None. Mayor Fauson. moved and Anderson seconded to <br /> approve the Agenda as submitted. Unanimous. <br />APPROVAL OF THE <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br />Mayor Fauson asked for any changes to the Consent <br /> Calendar. None. Nsayor Fauson moved and Szymanski <br /> seconded to approve' the Consent Calendar as <br /> submitted. Unanimous. <br />CONSENT CALENDAR: Approval of Minute:> <br /> Approval of Bills <br /> Request to Modify ~?remises - Brothers Three <br /> Restaurant <br /> Request to Modify ]?remises - Mooties Restaurant <br /> Approval of Water ]fights Purchase Agreement - <br /> Brownsville Water & Sanitation District <br />REGULAR BUSINESS: <br />PROCLAMATION - POLICE WEEK AND POLICE MEMORIAL <br />DAY Rod Leesman accepted a proclamation by the Mayor <br />declaring May 15-2.1 as Police Week and May 15 as <br />Police Memorial Day. <br />NATIONAL LOUIE LOUIE DAY EVENTS AND STREET CLOSURE <br />REQUEST Jim Craddock, Neenan Co., presented to Council a <br />proposal to close Cherry Street on Sunday, May 11, <br />1988, for the National Louie Louie Day event <br />designed to raise money for victims of leukemia. <br />In Louisville, this event is being sponsored by <br />1 <br />
