CITY OF LOUISVILLE MAY 3, 1988 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING The City Council of the City of Louisville mE~t in Regular Session in the Council Chambers, 749 Main Street, Louisville, Colorado. Mayor Fauson called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and the following persons were present: Councilmembers: Randy Carnival, Steve Anderson, Bob Szymanski, John Sackett, and A:Lan Scarpella Staff present: Rich Wanush, Acting City Administrator Steve Williamson, City Attorney Rod Leesman, Director of Public Safety Sharon Asti-Caranci, Director of Financial Services Larry Lillo, Director of Community Services Tom Phare, Director of Public Works Also present: Pam Ferris, City Clerk William Hesson, Treasurer Absent: Councilman Mike Mohr APPROVAL OF THE AGENDA Mayor Fauson asked for any changes to the Agenda. None. Mayor Fauson. moved and Anderson seconded to approve the Agenda as submitted. Unanimous. APPROVAL OF THE CONSENT CALENDAR Mayor Fauson asked for any changes to the Consent Calendar. None. Nsayor Fauson moved and Szymanski seconded to approve' the Consent Calendar as submitted. Unanimous. CONSENT CALENDAR: Approval of Minute:> Approval of Bills Request to Modify ~?remises - Brothers Three Restaurant Request to Modify ]?remises - Mooties Restaurant Approval of Water ]fights Purchase Agreement - Brownsville Water & Sanitation District REGULAR BUSINESS: PROCLAMATION - POLICE WEEK AND POLICE MEMORIAL DAY Rod Leesman accepted a proclamation by the Mayor declaring May 15-2.1 as Police Week and May 15 as Police Memorial Day. NATIONAL LOUIE LOUIE DAY EVENTS AND STREET CLOSURE REQUEST Jim Craddock, Neenan Co., presented to Council a proposal to close Cherry Street on Sunday, May 11, 1988, for the National Louie Louie Day event designed to raise money for victims of leukemia.
