CITY OF LOUISVILLE <br />MAY 31, 1988 SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING <br />The City Council of the City of Louisville met in Special Session in the <br />Council Chambers, 749 Main Street, Louisville, Colorado. Mayor Fauson <br />called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and the following persons were <br />present: <br />Councilmembers: Randy Carnival, Bob Szymanski, Mike Mohr, and <br />Alan Scarpella <br />Staff present: David C. Stahl, City Administrator <br />Also present: Pam Ferris, City Clerk <br />Absent: Councilman John Sackett <br />Councilman Steve Anderson <br />APPROVAL OF THE <br />AGENDA Mayor Fauson asked for any changes to the Agenda. <br />Mayor Fauson moved and Mohr seconded to approve <br />the Agenda as submitted. Unanimous. <br />REGULAR BUSINESS: <br />ORDINANCE #952 - GOLF COURSE BONDS - PUBLIC <br />HEARING Ordinance #952 authorizes the issuance of bonds in <br />the amount of $4,340,000 for the construction of a <br />golf course along Coal Creek in the City of <br />Louisville. A public hearing and final passage <br />was scheduled for this evening, however, Russ <br />Caldwell of KirchnE:r Moore asked that the public <br />hearing be continued until June 20, 1988 in order <br />to continue the marketing process for placement of <br />the bonds. <br />Mayor Fauson opened the public hearing. <br />Mayor Fauson asked if there was anyone who came to <br />speak specifically to this Ordinance who would not <br />be able to return to the June 20, 1988 meeting. <br />No one was present to speak to the issue of the <br />Ordinance. <br />Council discussed the time table involved in <br />delaying the final reading and related agreements <br />that may be affected by the delay. <br />Stahl stated that Mr. Bellock is amenable to an <br />extension sometimes mid-July to late July. The <br />balance of the agreements are contingent upon the <br />City's agreement with Mr. Bellock and Coal Creek <br />Associates. <br />1 <br />
