CITY OF LOUISVILLE
MAY 31, 1988 SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING
The City Council of the City of Louisville met in Special Session in the
Council Chambers, 749 Main Street, Louisville, Colorado. Mayor Fauson
called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and the following persons were
present:
Councilmembers: Randy Carnival, Bob Szymanski, Mike Mohr, and
Alan Scarpella
Staff present: David C. Stahl, City Administrator
Also present: Pam Ferris, City Clerk
Absent: Councilman John Sackett
Councilman Steve Anderson
APPROVAL OF THE
AGENDA Mayor Fauson asked for any changes to the Agenda.
Mayor Fauson moved and Mohr seconded to approve
the Agenda as submitted. Unanimous.
REGULAR BUSINESS:
ORDINANCE #952 - GOLF COURSE BONDS - PUBLIC
HEARING Ordinance #952 authorizes the issuance of bonds in
the amount of $4,340,000 for the construction of a
golf course along Coal Creek in the City of
Louisville. A public hearing and final passage
was scheduled for this evening, however, Russ
Caldwell of KirchnE:r Moore asked that the public
hearing be continued until June 20, 1988 in order
to continue the marketing process for placement of
the bonds.
Mayor Fauson opened the public hearing.
Mayor Fauson asked if there was anyone who came to
speak specifically to this Ordinance who would not
be able to return to the June 20, 1988 meeting.
No one was present to speak to the issue of the
Ordinance.
Council discussed the time table involved in
delaying the final reading and related agreements
that may be affected by the delay.
Stahl stated that Mr. Bellock is amenable to an
extension sometimes mid-July to late July. The
balance of the agreements are contingent upon the
City's agreement with Mr. Bellock and Coal Creek
Associates.
1
