recommend that one of these groups be given the <br />contract. <br />Mayor Fauson moved and Scarpella seconded to <br />reject the bids for Management and Maintenance of <br />the municipally owned golf course and allow the <br />Committee to invite. three to four management firms <br />to make oral presentations. The motion passed 5-0. <br />AUTHORIZATION TO BID GOLF COURSE <br />PROJECT Stahl stated that Dick Phelps, Golf Course <br />Architect, has been working with the Golf Course <br />Advisory Committee to complete the final design of <br />the Coal Creek Golf Course for final approval by <br />the City Council. The Golf Course Advisory <br />Committee met and unanimously approved and <br />recommended to Council that they approve the final <br />design and recommended that the project go out for <br />bid. <br />Mr. Phelps presented the plan in final form and <br />detailed the course layout describing the par 72 <br />full length golf course. <br />Mohr commented that the Golf Course Advisory <br />Committee has met every week for the last several <br />months and through the changes in administration, <br />the Committee has been able to work very well with <br />Mr. Phelps and his colleagues. "I think that is a <br />very commendable situation. We've put the <br />pressure on him to get a big job done in a minimum <br />amount of time . I hope at a later point in time <br />we can give proper credit where it is due more <br />fully, not only him, but the Committee as well. <br />Its been a pleasure working with him..." <br />Mohr moved and Szymanski seconded to approve the <br />final plan for the Golf Course and authorization <br />to bid construction phase of the project. The <br />motion passed 5-0. <br />Anderson and Sackett rejoined the meeting. <br />RESOLUTION #20 - FINDING OF FACTS AND CONCLUSION - <br />BROWN ANNEXATION PETITION - <br />PUBLIC HEARING Williamson read in its entirety, Resolution #20, <br />Series 1988, "A Resolution setting forth findings <br />of facts and conclusion relative to the annexation <br />of certain real pz-operty located north of South <br />Boulder Road, west of Continental View Drive, and <br />more particularly described herein." Proper <br />publication and notice of public hearing were <br />established. <br />Mayor Fauson opened the public hearing. <br />
