06/15/8?
INTRODUCTION
purchasing as to what the development has to
offer, including i.he sidewalk being on one side.
Mohr agreed with Anderson and although he respects
Szymanski's and Carnival's opinion, he feels the
variety is important. "I don't think safety is
the issue." There are many neighborhoods in this
general area which have this kind of plan and
should be available to people who wish to purchase
this type of housing within the City of
Louisville, Mohr continued.
Scarpella concurred with Anderson and Mohr. The
people and market dictate the success of this type
of development and McStain has researched the
market thoroughly. Scarpella seconded. By Roll Call Vote,
Resolution #16 was adopted 5-2 with Szymanski and
Carnival voting no.
Mayor Fauson asked that Hundley introduce the new
Director of Communil=y Services .
Hundley introduced l~arry Lillo stating that he
comes from the City of Thornton where he worked
for nine years working as a recreation leader and
supervisor, project and contract administrator,
and director of a recreation center.
