Council agreed. <br />AUTHORIZATION TO PURCHASE EASEMENTS - TREATEI) WATER TANK <br />PROJECT Phare informed Council that staff and Rocky Mountain <br />Consultants, the Cii~y's consulting f irm, have <br />evaluated alternate routes for locating a water <br />distribution main from the treated water storage <br />tank to the existing distribution system. The <br />preferred route whic=h provides for the lowest cost <br />requires easements jErom private property owners. <br />The route desired is, adjacent to the Community Ditch <br />from 66th STreet to the Howard Berry Water Treatment <br />Plant Site. In ordE:r to secure the required <br />easements, Rocky Mountain Consultants has been <br />negotiating with those property owners from whom it <br />would be necessary i~o obtain easements. The <br />easements, as negotiated, have been reviewed and <br />executed by the respective property owners. The <br />easement costs and associated conditions are <br />detailed in the easE~ment agreements. Staff <br />recommends approval of the easement agreements with <br />Mildred M. Bush and the Cowdery Co. for the treated <br />water storage tank ~>ipeline, with authorization for <br />the Mayor and City Clerk to execute the documents on <br />behalf of the City. Phare stated that the costs of <br />obtaining these easements were included in the <br />project budget. <br />Mayor Fauson called for a motion. Mohr moved that <br />the easement agreeme=nts with Mildred M. Bush and the <br />Cowdery Company for the Treated Water Storage Tank <br />Pipeline be approved.
