CITY OF LOUISVILLE <br />SEPTEMBER 30, 1987 SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING <br />The City Council of the City of Louisville met in Special Session in the <br />Small Conference Room, 749 Main Street, Louisville, Colorado. Mayor Fauson <br />called the meeting to order at 4:55 p.m. and t=he following persons were <br />present: <br />Councilmembers: Steve Anderson, Bob Szymanski, Alan Scarpella <br />and Mike Mohr <br />Staff present: Terry Hundley, City ;?administrator <br />Also present: Pam Ferris, City Clerk <br />Absent: Randy Carnival, Councilman <br />John Sackett, Counci=lman <br />LIQUOR LICENSE RENEWAL APPLICATION FOR <br />CENTENNIAL LIQUORS <br />Mayor Fauson stated that the only item for co=nsideration at this Special <br />Council Meeting was the renewal of a liquor license for the retail liquor <br />store, Centennial Liquors, 324 McCaslin Blvd. Notice of the meeting was <br />posted and all Councilmembers were notified. <br />Ferris explained that Michael Poe of Centennial Liquors had contacted her on <br />Tuesday, September 29th, stating that he did riot receive the renewal <br />application generated by the State and only resalized today that his license <br />was about to expire on Monday, October 5th. Council's next regular meeting <br />is Tuesday, October 6th. If Poe's license does expire, he will have to <br />reapply fora new license and be unable to operate his business during that <br />process. Although the responsibility is clearly that of the applicant, Mayor <br />Fauson agreed to call a Special Meeting to consider this application. Ferris <br />also explained that there had been no violations or police reports generated <br />at this establishment for the past year. <br />Mayor Fauson moved that the application for re=newal be granted to Centennial <br />Liquors. Scarpella seconded. By Roll Call Vote the application was approved <br />unanimously. <br />With no further business, Mayor Fauson moved t=hat the Special Meeting be <br />adjourned. Anderson seconded. The meeting ways unanimously adjourned at 5:00 <br />p.m. <br />1 <br />
