RAILROAD CROSSING <br />CTC ~ Anderson asked how this item fits into the City's <br /> Capital Improvement Plan. Hundley explained that <br /> the project was not identified as a 1986 CIP, <br /> however, staff felt enough adjustments could be <br /> made in 1987 to pay for this acquisition. There <br /> is an immediate need for the acquisition and work <br /> is to be completed. by September 30, 1986. <br /> Mayor Fauson moved that Council authorize the <br /> Public Works Department to prepare an agreement <br /> to acquire the ROW necessary for grade crossing <br /> construction at Dillon Road and the Burlington <br /> Northern Railroad. Fauson. seconded. Unanimous. <br />APPOINTMENT OF <br />MUNICIPAL JUDGE Szymanski moved that Lee Allen Hawke be appointed <br />as Louisville Municipal Judge. Scarpella <br />seconded. Unanimous. Szymanski moved that John <br />Gstalder be appointed as Associate Municipal <br />Judge. Fauson seconded. Unanimous. <br />APPOINTMENT OF <br />PROSECUTING ATTORNEY Anderson moved that Bruce Joss and Corin Wood be <br />appointed as the C;ity's Prosecuting Attorneys. <br />Carnival seconded. Unanimous. <br />APPOINTMENT TO BOARD <br />OF ADJUSTMENT AND <br />APPEALS Sackett nominated Daniel Swires be appointed to <br />the Board of Adjustment and Appeals. Szymanski <br />seconded. Scarpella nominated Charles Hoffman be <br />appointed to the Board. Carnival seconded. By a <br />show of hands, Swires received 4 votes and Hoffman <br />received 2 votes. Mayor Fauson declared that by <br />Council's vote, Daniel Swires has been appointed <br />to the Board of Adjustment and Appeals. <br />2 <br />
