the County and zoned Existing Light Industrial
(ELI). They have requested annexation to the City
with an Industrial (I) zoning classification. The
property is located at 9669 Empire Drive, which is
on Highway 42 between the City Shops and the
highway. The Planning Commission held a public
hearing concerning this on April 8, 1986, and
continued the hearing to April 17, 1986 where upon
the annexation was approved with conditions out-
lined during the 1st reading of this ordinance.
It is now within the City's Urban Service Area as
the expansion to this area was previously approved
by Council. This property is subject to an
amendment of the Intergovernmental Agreement which
all parties involved have stated a willingness to
adopt as this parcel was inadvertently included
within the Intergovernmental Agreement.
Hioco stated that the completion of landscaping
would be required within a year.
Hundley stated that Lafayette City Council has
already signed the Intergovernmental Agreement as
has Louisville and it is now being referred back
to Boulder County. Hundley said he has every
indication that the agreement will then be signed
upon receipt and copies sent to each entity.
Phare explained that the use of the Trousil's
business wauld come under the City's Industrial
Pretreatment Program and they would have to obtain
a permit and license.
With no public comments, Mayor Fauson closed the
public hearing and called for a motion.
Szymanski moved that Ordinance #892 be approved.
Scarpella seconded. By Roll Call Vote, Ordinance
#892 passed unanimously.
ORDINANCE #893 - TROUSIL ZONING -
PUBLIC HEARING Rautenstraus read by title only Ordinance #893,
"An Ordinance amending Title 17 of the Louisville
Municipal Code of the City of Louisville entitled
"Zoning" by zoning property of approximately 6.49
acres owned by Robert E. and Vlasta Trousil
annexed to the City by Ordinance No. 892." Proper
publication and notice of public hearing were
established.
Mayor Fauson opened the public hearing.
Wanush explained that this property, explained in
the previous Agenda Item, was zoned Existing Light
Industrial in the Caunty jurisdiction.
3
