Other smaller projects were identified and as
progress is made, Phare will update Council.
The fire district will be using a structure at the
water plant for practicing procedures and causing
some smoke. There will not be a fire.
COUNCIL COMMENTS AND COMMITTEE
REPORTS Councilmembers commented on the successful and
enjoyable Fall Festival over Labor Day due to the
Chamber involvement, City support crews and other
Louisville groups and businesses.
Anderson related to the public a letter sent to
Council from EquiSearch regarding the Ponderosa
Development wherein they will not be proceeding
with this particular project. Also, the
Consortium of Cities will be meeting in Louisville
Wednesday evening at 7:30 p.m.
Anderson also commended the Historical Commission
for their hard work on the Museum Buildings and
the volunteers for their commitment to this
project and asked everyone to take the time to go
and see their efforts.
Mohr commended Wanush's efforts in getting the
official population count corrected with the State
allowing more lottery funds to be allocated to
Louisville.
Mohr stated that an article in the Colorado Clerks
Communique regarding past City Clerk, Cleo
Mudrock, related Cleo's remarks to a fellow clerk
that she should stop and smell the roses. Mohr
remarked that this reflects the type of human
contribution Cleo made and should serve as a
positive example to everyone.
Mayor Fauson related that the Blue Parrot
restaurant bought breakfast for those Public Works
Crews that were out early preparing for the parade
and festivities. Mayor Fauson stated that this
type of unity in the community is commendable. He
thanked Homart along with other Councilmembers for
their entry feature and the fine work they have
done.
Hundley reminded Council of the Budget Work
Session Thursday.
ADJOURNMENT Mayor Fauson moved that the meeting adjourn.
Anderson seconded. Unanimous at 9:06 p.m.
10
