southern boundary of the current recreation site <br />to Homart. In exchange, the City would receive <br />the same amount of land in a location acceptable <br />to the School District. The City, for considera- <br />tions, will then give this land to the School <br />District for the construction of a new elementary <br />school. A draft agreement spells out the condi- <br />tions under which the land would be transferred to <br />the School District. The City would received use <br />of school facilities and a soccer and softball <br />field. The gym would be oversized to accommodate <br />adults. In addition, the School District would <br />pay for any increase in cost for drainage up to <br />$50,000. Staff recommends Council discuss and <br />direct staff to finalize an agreement which would <br />be brought to Council for formal approval. <br />Council reviewed the draft proposal and felt it <br />was a positive move and commended staff for the <br />elements contained in the agreement. <br />Mayor Fauson moved that staff draft a final <br />agreement and bring it back to Council for final <br />approval. Unanimous. <br />RESOLUTION #44 - LOUISVILLE TRADE CENTER PUD <br />AGREEMENT (Anderson asked to be excused from the <br />proceedings.) <br />Wanush explained that the Louisville Trade Center <br />Partnership requested an amendment to the Louis- <br />ville Trade Center PUD originally approved in July <br />1984. The PUD shows two buildings at Griffith and <br />Highway 42. Phase I is completed and the proposal <br />for Phase II (the lot further west) is to reduce <br />the size of the building by 255 s.f. and provide <br />11 additional parking spaces. Planning Commission <br />recommended approval with two conditions: 1) <br />landscaping be approved by City staff; and 2) a 15 <br />ft. setback on street parking from Griffith street <br />entrance be shown on the PUD. <br />Mohr moved that Resolution #44 be adopted. <br />Sackett seconded. Unanimous. <br />(Anderson rejoined the meeting at this point.) <br />CITY ADMINISTRATOR EMPLOYMENT <br />AGREEMENT Hundley explained that in late September Council <br />completed an evaluation of the City Administrator <br />and among other things requested that a new <br />employment agreement be drafted which reflected <br />several changes over the current employment <br />agreement.
