APPROVAL OF LAND TRANSFER AGREEMENT WITH FIRE PROTECTION <br />DISTRICT Hundley detailed the proposed land transfer <br />agreement between the City of Louisville and the <br />Louisville Fire Protection District. This <br />agreement would transfer the three acres currently <br />owned by the City of Louisville but proposed for a <br />new fire station site to the Louisville Fire <br />Protection District. This land transaction is <br />part of the three-way deal agreed to by the City <br />of Louisville Fire Protection District and McStain <br />Enterprises for a new fire station site. There is <br />no money involved. The Fire Protection District <br />agrees to pay approximately $21,800 in property <br />tax assessments on this property which were made <br />as part of the Via Appia Street Improvement <br />District. <br />Mayor Fauson moved that the land transfer <br />agreement with the Louisville Fire Protection <br />District be approved. Anderson seconded. <br />Unanimous. <br />RESOLUTION #53 - 1966 BUDGET <br />AMENDMENTS Rautenstraus read in its entirety Resolution #53, <br />"A Resolution amending the 1986 Budget by <br />decreasing or increasing revenues and <br />appropriations in the Capital Improvement, <br />Conservation Trust, Revenue Sharing, Special <br />Improvement District 86-1, Water and Wastewater <br />Funds." <br />Hundley explained that the 1986 Budget amendments <br />are of a housekeeping nature and reflect any <br />unanticipated revenues, expenditures carried over <br />from 1985 and 1986 and appropriations that have <br />been delayed to a future year. This procedure <br />reflects the accurate circumstances of the City's <br />Budget and gives full disclosure of any changes in <br />the 1986 Budget since the time it was originally <br />adopted. This conforms with Colorado Budget Law <br />which requires that. the City live within the <br />amount budgeted. There are no transfers involved <br />in this action. <br />Mayor Fauson moved that Resolution #53 be adopted. <br />Szymanski seconded. Unanimous. <br />RESOLUTION #54 - INTERCHANGE ON U.S. 36 AT <br />96TH STREET Rautenstraus read in its entirety Resolution #54, <br />"A Joint Resolution of the Broomfield City Council <br />and the Louisville City Council supporting the <br />recommendations of the U.S. 36 Interchange Study <br />for an additional Interchange on U.S. Highway 36 <br />at 96th Street." <br />2 <br />
