Council asked that staff review the franchise <br />agreement and rate the performance of Scripps <br />Howard Cable Television and asked that their <br />service be addressed in a Citizen Survey next <br />year. <br />Marge Maggoe stated. that she is part of a group <br />that accesses the public T.V. channel for various <br />programs and has found Scripps personnel generally <br />cooperative and has been told that all parts of <br />the franchise agreement are being reviewed and <br />improvements are being made to provide top service <br />to its subscribers. There has been a recent <br />change in management. <br />COUNCIL ACTION ON PROPOSED WARD <br />REALIGNMENTS Hundley explained that based upon current Ward <br />boundaries, there exists a clear imbalance in the <br />City's existing Wards. Staff has prepared maps <br />with alternative Ward realignments for Council's <br />review. Council has been reviewing this issue for <br />several months and staff recommends choosing a map <br />and directing staff to draft an ordinance. <br />Council discussed the <br />four maps presented a <br />short term affects of <br />that any changes made <br />based upon an attempt <br />the Wards. <br />pros and cons to each of the <br />nd discussed the long and <br />each. Mohr seconded. The <br />meeting was unanimously adjourned at 8:40 p.m. <br />4 <br />
