Council asked that staff review the franchise agreement and rate the performance of Scripps Howard Cable Television and asked that their service be addressed in a Citizen Survey next year. Marge Maggoe stated. that she is part of a group that accesses the public T.V. channel for various programs and has found Scripps personnel generally cooperative and has been told that all parts of the franchise agreement are being reviewed and improvements are being made to provide top service to its subscribers. There has been a recent change in management. COUNCIL ACTION ON PROPOSED WARD REALIGNMENTS Hundley explained that based upon current Ward boundaries, there exists a clear imbalance in the City's existing Wards. Staff has prepared maps with alternative Ward realignments for Council's review. Council has been reviewing this issue for several months and staff recommends choosing a map and directing staff to draft an ordinance.
