RESOLUTION NO. 21 <br />SERIES 2016 <br />A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 4, SERIES 2014, A RESOLUTION <br />ESTABLISHING A REVOLVING LOAN PROGRAM WITHIN THE HISTORIC <br />PRESERVATION FUND TO ENCOURAGE LANDMARK DESIGNATIONS AND <br />REHABILITATION OF HISTORIC PROPERTIES IN THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE <br />WHEREAS, the City has previously adopted Resolution No. 4, Series 2014, a resolution <br />establishing a revolving loan program within the Historic Preservation Fund to encourage <br />landmark designations and rehabilitation of historic properties in the City of Louisville; and <br />WHEREAS, the Louisville Historic Preservation Commission has forwarded to the City <br />Council recommended amendments to Resolution No. 4, Series 2014 as set forth herein in order <br />to implement the City's revolving loan program. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: <br />Section 1. Subsections a, b, c and j of Section 2 of Resolution No. 4, Series 2014 are <br />hereby amended to read as follows (words added are underlined; words deleted are stricken <br />thfeugh): <br />Section 2. Loans from the Revolving Loan Fund <br />a. Loan requests applications shall be submitted to City staff and shall be <br />reviewed by the Historic Preservation Commission at a public meeting. The <br />Commission shall provide its recommendation on the application before final <br />action is taken by City Council. <br />b. Loan requests applications may be submitted and considered in conjunction <br />with grants from the Historic Preservation Fund, respecting the grant limitations <br />established in City Council Resolution No. 2, Series 2012. The Historic <br />Preservation Commission may recommend a mixture of loans and grants from the <br />Historic Preservation Fund even if the applicant requested only one type of <br />assistance, and also may recommend one type of assistance where a mixture is <br />requested. City Council may also decide to approve any one or a mixture of loans <br />and grants regardless of the number or types of assistance requested in the request <br />application. <br />c. Loans shall be in an amount of at least $2,500 $500. There is no specific loan <br />limit established in this Resolution, but the Historic Preservation Commission and <br />City Council shall consider the following in setting an amount: <br />i.
