The sustainable recognition vnll target businesses <br />2) What are the goals of your community for this project? <br />Improve water conservation efforts and to promote sustainable practices by recognizingaccomplishments. <br />3) What environmental sustainability benefits will your project provide to the local community? <br />The conservation program will reduce the amount of water used in outdoor imgabon. Susnesses maybe reluctant to support sustainable practices because of financial conatus. but recognition could help them/ustdy the effort. <br />Project Design, Logistics and Timeline: Please provide a brief description of the project/program you would <br />ike to implement using the requested funds. Be sure to include how you will measure the success of this <br />project/program and expected program outcomes. Please limit text to no more than 1 page. <br />Conservation Program <br />1. Develop a pilot water conservation program in partnership with the Center for ReSource Conservation to provide and install smart inigation water controllers (3/31/16) <br />2. Implement and market the pilot program in conjunction with other water conservation programs. (3/31/16 - 12/31/16) <br />3. Water usage information will be monitored and analyzed on an annual basis to assess the effectiveness of this program and assist with the determination on future <br />conservation funding allocations.
