Paul Wood, Planning Director, asked clarification from Council. <br /> <br />Davidson stated that, if this passes in its final form, it will be <br />put. on the Agenda of the earliest Work Session and the City <br />Attorney will be asked to review what the City can do. <br /> <br />Ho%'ard moved that Council approve Resolution No. 36, Series 1993, <br />management of growth and development within the city limits and the <br />planning area of Louisville. Seconded by Sisk. <br /> <br />Lathrop offered a friendly amendment to provide in section No. 5 of <br />the Resolution that it read (last sentence), "The Comprehensive <br />Plan shall be the guide for residential density of new annexations <br />and. enclaves." <br /> <br />Levihn seconded the amendment. <br /> <br />Roll call was taken on the amendment. Amendment failed by a vote <br />of 3 - 4 with Davidson, Howard, Sisk, and Mayer voting against. <br /> <br />Roil call was taken on the Resolution. <br />vote with Lathrop voting against. <br /> <br />Motion passed by a 6 - 1 <br /> <br />REf:OLUTION NO. 6, SERIES 1994 - APPROVING A FINAL PUD DEVELOPMENT <br />PL~.~ FOR COMFORT INN <br /> <br />Sis.k asked to be excused from consideration of this item since his <br />law firm represents Mr. Rudolph's CPA firm. <br /> <br />Davidson excused Sisk. <br /> <br />Paul Wood, Planning Director, stated that this would allow the <br />construction of a 70 room, two-story Comfort Inn Hotel on Lots 6 <br />an~. 7 of the Colony Square Subdivision south of Dyer Road and west <br />of McCaslin Boulevard. Access is from Dyer Road via the westerly <br />entrance drive to Colony Square. Maximum building height to peak <br />of roof line is 33' with building coverage on the 2.29 acre site is <br />29~. Landscaping, including sidewalks, is 33.5% of site. There <br />are 79 standard and 3 handicap parking spaces. Two wall signs are <br />proposed at 72 s.f. each and two entry signs at 5 s.f. not to <br />exceed 2.6' in height. Site plan changes were made to bring the <br />development into conformance with the Gateway Design Guidelines. <br />On November 30, 1993 Planning Commission approved the project 6 - <br />0. All conditions of approval have been met by the applicant. <br /> <br />Davidson called for the applicant's presentation. <br /> <br />Rud.dy Rudolph, 1830 Chokecherry Drive, Louisville, Colorado, was <br />there to answer any questions. <br /> <br />Mike McDonough, Land Consultants, planning/consulting firm, 436 <br />Pratt Street, Longmont, Colorado, introduced Paula Fitzgerald with <br /> <br />10 <br /> <br /> <br />
