Duke Smith, National Highway Safety Administration, stated that the <br />City of Louisville is the first city in Colorado to obtain a 75% <br />average safety belt usage. He presented a placque to Bruce <br />Goodman, Police Chief, for the City of Louisville from the National <br />Hi?hway Safety Administration. <br /> <br />SCRIFFINY ANNEXATION <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1135, SERIES 1993 - ANNEXING TO THE CITY OF <br />LOUISVIL~m, COLORADO CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY - SCRIFFINY - 2ND <br />READING - PUBLIC HEARING (PUBL. LSVL. TIMES 11/17/93) <br /> <br />Griffiths read by title only Ordinance No 1135, Series 1993, <br /> · "An <br />ordinance annexing to the city of Louisville, Colorado, the <br />property located at 1913 South 88th Street." <br /> <br />Paul Wood, Planning Director, directed his comments to both <br />Ordinance No. 1135 and 1136. He stated that the applicants, James <br />and. Elizabeth Scriffiny, had requested by letter to withdraw their <br />annexation petition and have it withdrawn from further action by <br />City Council. Staff contacted the applicant about their concerns, <br />which centered upon the terms and conditions of the annexation <br />agreement. He stated that the applicants did not wish to pursue <br />the annexation. <br /> <br />Davidson called for anyone in the audience wishing to speak on <br />Ordinance No. 1135. <br /> <br />NOS'E <br /> <br />Davidson closed the public hearing and called for Council comments <br />or motions. <br /> <br />Sis.k moved that Council withdraw the annexation petition and not <br />approve Ordinance No. 1135, Series 1993, on 2nd and final hearing. <br />Seconded by Howard. Roll call was taken. Motion passed by a 7 - <br />0 vote. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1136, SERIES 1993 - ZONING CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY <br />- SCRIFFINY - 2NDREADING - PUBLIC HEARING (PUBL. LSVL. TIMES <br />11/17/93) <br /> <br />Griffiths read by title only Ordinance No. 1136, Series 1993, "An <br />ordinance amending Title 17 of the Louisville Municipal Code <br />entitled "Zoning" by zoning property owned by James L. and <br />Elizabeth Scriffiny known as the Scriffiny Annexation." <br /> <br />Davidson opened the public hearing calling for anyone in the <br />audience wishing to speak on Ordinance No. 1136, Series 1993. <br /> <br />NOS'E <br /> <br /> <br />
