Hundley introduced the City's two new directors. <br />Thomas A. Phare is the new Director of Public <br />Works and Richard L. Wanush is the new Director of <br />Community Development. <br />PROCLAMATION - NATIONAL <br />POLICE WEEK Mayor Meier read the Proclamation declaring May 15 <br />of each year as "Police Memorial Day." <br />PROCLAMATION - MULTIPLE <br />SCLEROSIS SOCIETY Mayor Meier declared May as "Multiple Sclerosis <br />Month." <br />LIQUOR LICENSE APPLICATION <br />HOWARD'S COAL CREEK <br />RESTAURANT AND LOUNGE The Public Hearing for the Liquor License <br />Application was opened by Mayor Meier. Mr. and <br />Mrs. Howard were present to answer questions. <br />The Public Hearing was continued to the next <br />Council Meeting, Play 21, 1985, as there was an <br />error in the Public Notice published in the <br />Louisville Times grid has been corrected and action <br />can be taken at the next meeting. Mayor Meier <br />moved that the Public Hearing be continued until <br />May 21, 1985. Luce seconded and the motion was <br />approved unanimously. <br />JOINT ECONOMIC <br />DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM Steve Anderson, President of the Chamber of <br /> Commerce related t:o Council the response of the <br /> Chamber members and business community to the <br /> Joint Economic Development Program that was <br /> proposed. The general feeling was very positive <br /> and favorable to this proposal. <br /> Mayor Meier moved that staff draft a contract <br /> between the Council and the Chamber of Commerce <br /> and place it on the May 21, 1985, Council Agenda. <br /> Luce seconded. <br /> The City's portion of funding will be taken from <br /> unanticipated revenue, specifically monies from <br /> franchise agreements. Luce asked that the <br /> language of the contract would read to have the <br /> funding removed from any political involvement now <br /> and in the future. <br /> The motion was pass;ed unanimously. <br />ORDINANCE #856 - <br />INDUSTRIAL REVENUE <br />BONDS FOR SCOPE <br />MANUFACTURING Rautenstraus read Ordinance #856, by title only, <br /> "An Ordinance providing for the issuance and sale <br /> of the City of Louisville, Colorado, Industrial <br /> Development Revenue Bond (Klister Properties <br />3 <br />
