W-470 TASK FORCE <br />PARTICIPATION At the April 17t:h, W-470 Task Force Meeting, <br />additions to the Study requested by the Boulder <br />County Consortium were discussed in length. City <br />administrative staff recommends that Louisville <br />continue to participate in the W-470 Task Force <br />and contribute its $1,229 share. <br />Leary moved that t:he City continue to participate <br />in the W-470 Task Force and contribute its $1,229 <br />share and recommend to the Boulder County <br />Commissioners that the City would like to <br />participate in Task 4 (Analyze economic benefits <br />and impacts to each County and each community). <br />Mayor Meier seconded and the motion was passed <br />unanimously. <br />BOULDER COUNTY ELDERLY <br />HOUSING SURVEY Mayor Meier moved that this item be tabled until <br />the next meeting a.s the presenter was unable to <br />attend this meeting. Johnson seconded and the <br />motion was unanimously passed. <br />RENAMING PARK IN <br />RECOGNITION OF <br />CLEO MUDROCK Fauson asked that Council consider the renaming of <br />a City park in recognition of Cleo Mudrock's long <br />time employment a.nd dedication to the City of <br />Louisville. <br />As there is no policy with regard to naming City <br />parks, Council directed staff to research the <br />suggestion and present a recommendation to Council <br />at their next study session. <br />STEINBACH PROPERTY Fauson asked that this agreement be reintroduced <br />AGREEMENT to the Planning Commission and allow this body to <br />complete negotiations with regard to this <br />agreement. This would also allow a forum for <br />public response in this land use policy. <br />Hundley related to Council background information <br />regarding this agreement. The City of Boulder, <br />County of Boulder and Louisville decided to enter <br />into a tri-governmental purchase agreement for <br />this property located on the mesa. At this point <br />in time, it is unknown as to the exact size of the <br />Louisville Reservoir expansion to take place in <br />two years. Staff is concerned with the agreement <br />as originally drafted as it should spell out that <br />the City of Louisville has clear use of the land <br />surrounding the Louisville Reservoir that is part <br />of the Steinbach property so that the expansion <br />can take place without becoming boxed in.
