Mayor Meier asked for public comments in favor or <br />in opposition to Ordinance #867. None. Mayor <br />Meier closed the Public Hearing. <br />Mayor Meier moved that Ordinance #867 be adopted <br />with the conditions set forth by the Planning <br />Commission. Johnson seconded. Unanimous. <br />ORDINANCE #868 - FABER ZONING <br />PUBLIC HEARING Rautenstraus read by title only Ordinance #868, <br />"An Ordinance amending Title 17 of the Louisville <br />Municipal Cod e of the City of Louisville by zoning <br />property of approximately 5.3 acres owned by <br />Harold Faber, annexed to the City of Louisville by <br />Ordinance No. 8Ei7." Proper publication was <br />determined. <br />Wanush explained the zoning of the property The <br />Planning Commissian recommended that the property <br />be zoned RE since it is adjacent to RE zoning. <br />Council requested that the Ordinance be written to <br />zone the property for RR as was originally <br />requested by the applicant. RR is specified in the <br />Ordinance. <br />Mayor Meier opened the Public Hearing and asked <br />for any public comments in favor or in opposition <br />to Ordinance #868. None. Mayor Meier closed the <br />Public Hearing and moved that Ordinance #868 be <br />adopted. Leary seconded. Unanimous. <br />HOMART PRESENTATION - <br />PRELIMINARY LANDSCAPE <br />PLANS - CENTENNIAL VALLEY <br />DEVELOPMENT - HOMART Dave Stahl, Homart Representative, related to <br />Council the plan :relating to the installation of <br />the infrastructure for the Centennial Valley <br />Project commencing this week with the installation <br />of curb and gutter and then the paving of McCaslin <br />and Cherry Streets. HOH, Homart's developers and <br />landscape architects, are developing a concept for <br />the landscaping and type of image Homart would <br />like to create for its Centennial Valley Project. <br />Jim O'Nei 11 of HOH conducted a s 1 ide presentation <br />showing the type of concept Homart is developing <br />and asked for Council's input before proceeding <br />with final construction drawings for submittal to <br />staff for approval.. <br />Stahl explained ghat north of Cherry on McCaslin <br />Blvd. a 36'cross-section is being built - the east <br />three lanes - anti wi 11 provide a 5' bikeway on <br />each side segregated from the curb and gutter.
