The entry
feature and landscaping would hopefully be
completed by mid-summer, 1986.
Leary asked questions with regard to the height of
the entry feature t:o the Centennial Valley Project
and speculated as to whether a tall structure
would actually accomplish Homart's objective.
Stahl explained ghat the objective is to draw
people into the project by providing an appealing
entry feature that can be seen as you come north
on McCaslin Blvd. after exiting the U.S. 36
Interchange at Superior. Stahl stated that great
care is being taken to ensure the objective would
be accomplished in the best and most appropriate
way.
Leary asked that if a model of the area is made
that the public be allowed to view it.
Stahl indicated that the entry way and the west
business loop would be planted with large caliper
trees.
RESOLUTION #20
STC BUILDING NO. 6 Resolution #20, "A Resolution approving Final
Subdivision Plat for Storage Technology Building
No. 6 Subdivision" was read in its entirety by
Rautenstraus.
Wanush outlined far Council that this proposal is
for subdividing 6.5 acres which includes Building
#6, a semi-conductor facility. This subdivision
would accommodate agreements between STC and
California Devices Inc. for CDI to purchase the
building. The building would be used for a
similar operation as was performed by STC.
Planning Commission approved the proposal without
conditions.
Mayor Meier moved that Resolution #20 be adopted.
Cussen seconded. Unanimous.
ANNEXATION REQUEST
MARTINEZ/RICHMOND Wanush conveyed to Council a letter received from
the property owners currently in Boulder County
7
