The Public Works Department selected the gravity trunk sewer as the best option to solve the wastewater flow capacity problem in the North Louisville area and also recommend RMC for the project has they have undertaken preliminary pipe sizing, route analyses, preliminary cost estimates and related work. Mayor Meier moved approval of Rocky Mountain Consultants for engineering services on the North Louisville Sewer Trunk project at a cost not to exceed $33,900. Cussen seconded. Unanimous. CONTRACT WITH PINE STREET PLAZA FOR RECREATION CLASSES Hioco explained that due to a new policy with the school district, the City is limited as to space and time available to hold recreation classes at the schools. A room at Pine Street Plaza is available for classes at $975 a month with a one year lease and an option to extend for another session of classes. Cussen moved that the contract to lease a room at Pine Street Plaza be approved. Mayor Meier seconded. Unanimous. AUTHORIZATION TO HIRE A FACILITATOR FOR THE NEW COUNCIL Hundley asked for permission to hire a facilitator for organizational meetings with the new council. Since the meetings are scheduled for 1985, in an accounting sense, the expenditures would be this year also and therefore, needs Council's approval. Leary so moved. Mayor Meier seconded. Unanimous. COUNCIL COMMENTS Luce asked the status of the Design Guidelines. Wanush related that the guidelines would be brought before Council at their next regular meeting. Leary asked that a financial policy be drafted as discussed during the Public Hearing for Ordinance #874. ADJOURNMENT With no further business, Mayor Meier moved that the meeting adjourn.
