PUBLIC COMMENTS - ON ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA <br /> <br />Davidson called for public comments on items not on the Agenda. <br /> <br />NONE <br /> <br />COUNCIL INFORMATIONAL COMMENTS ON PERTINENT ITEMS <br /> NOT ON THE AGENDA <br /> <br />Howard thanked the American Legion for inviting City Administrator <br />Annette Brand and himself to help judge their oratorical. <br /> <br />Sisk complimented the Library staff and Friends of the Library for <br />their well organized and attended fundraiser, Louisville Friends of <br />the Library Annual Dessert Festival. <br /> <br />Lathrop complimented the Public Works and Building Departments for <br />the procedure they worked out on fence issues in a right-of-way. <br /> <br />REGULAR BUSINESS <br /> <br />PRESENTATION/INFORMATION - 4TH OF JULY FIREWORKS - BOB ROSS, <br />AMERICAN LEGION <br /> <br />Bob Ross and Leroy Lorenzi, representing the American Legion, <br />presented a plaque of appreciation to the City of Louisville for <br />their participation in the Legion's annual 4th of July fireworks. <br />Ross explained that on March 12 the Fireworks International Company <br />is coming to Louisville to give a fireworks safety class. He asked <br />for permission to fire some fireworks for instructional purposes. <br /> <br />Davidson stated they should see the City Administrator and it would <br />not be a problem. Davidson thanked the American Legion for putting <br />the fireworks show on each year. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1142, SERIES 1994 - AMENDING CHAPTER 6 OF THE <br />LOUISVI?Wm MUNICIPAL CODE CONCERNING THE REGULATION OF VICIOUS <br />ANIMALS - 2ND READING - PUBLIC HEARING (PUBL. LSVL. TIMES 2/19/94) <br /> <br />Griffiths read by title only Ordinance No. 1142, Series 1994, "An <br />ordinance amending Chapter 6 of the Louisville Municipal Code <br />concerning the regulation of vicious animals." <br /> <br />Bruce Goodman, Chief of Police, stated that there were some minor <br />changes from the City Attorney's staff, but no substantive changes <br />since the last Council meeting. <br /> <br />Mayer requested that his concern over a dog-at-large jumping into <br />someone's yard and attacking a child that might be teasing the <br />animal, as referred to in Section 6.12.020, No. 3, be referred to <br />the Prosecuting Attorney to see if there might be a problem. <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br /> <br />
