City Council Finance Committee <br />Meeting Minutes <br />04/18/16 <br />Page 5 of 8 <br />Wayfinding — McCaslin & Centennial Valley — City Manager stated that the <br />funds are for consulting, design and signs, but that the Parks Wayfinding <br />signs will take much longer and require additional funding. <br />Highway 42 & Short Crossing Improvements — Members stated that <br />additional information and updated narrative was needed. <br />Eldorado Intake — Members stated that the narrative needs to be <br />expanded and further information is needed. <br />The Finance Committee Members stated that instead of carrying forward the <br />funds of projects staff knows cannot be completed in 2016, that new CIP <br />requests should be completed and submitted for 2017/2018. <br />Finance Committee Chairperson Stolzmann asked if when budget corrections <br />are made, errors in the FTE tables are updated. Director Watson stated they are <br />not. Member Stolzmann stated that an updated FTE schedule should be <br />included with the Budget Amendment and Resolution. <br />The resolution and corresponding narrative can be located in the packet of the <br />April 18, 2016 Finance Committee Meeting. <br />GOLF COURSE RESPONSE TO EIDE BAILLY REPORT ON INTERNAL <br />CONTROLS AND REVENUE COLLECTION PROCEDURES <br />Director Watson presented the Golf Course response to the Finance Committee <br />Members. <br />Members discussed inventory, providing courier services for the Golf Couse, and <br />some of the reporting issues identified in the Golf Course response. <br />Director Watson stated that Finance staff will work with the golf course to <br />establish a year -end process for verifying inventory and that when the Golf <br />Course is unable to courier the daily reports to City Hall, staff will arrange to pick <br />them up. <br />Director Watson stated that he did not agree with the reporting access statement <br />in the memo, but did state that Golf Course and Finance staff are still working to <br />reconcile gift cards and rainchecks. <br />The Golf Course response and corresponding narrative can be located in the <br />packet of the April 18, 2016 Finance Committee Meeting. <br />SALES TAX REPORT FOR THE MONTH ENDED FEBRUARY 29, 2016 <br />Tax Manager, Penney Bolte, presented to the Committee the sales tax reports <br />for the period ended February 29, 2016. <br />6 <br />
