Historic Preservation Commission <br />Meeting Minutes <br />April 18, 2016 <br />Page 11 of 11 <br />Trice says it has been extended a few times. <br />Mining Cabins — Haley says Cyndi Thomas and Lauren Trice met and brainstormed. <br />We had the blackboard full of ideas. We prioritized the most feasible to the most <br />unfeasible. <br />Trice says we asked Bridget Bacon to do a social history. <br />Updates from Staff: <br />• Demolition Updates — We had our first administrative demo review that I <br />signed off on. It was relieving. It was a request to replace a roof. We looked <br />through the permit history and found that the roof had been replaced. <br />• Upcoming Schedule — <br />o Tuesday, April 19, 2016, 7:00 pm - HPC tax discussion will happen at <br />City Council. This was moved from the April 5 meeting. I highly <br />recommend you attend and be a part of that discussion. <br />o Thursday, May 5, 2016, 7:00 pm — Tiny Houses Preservation Panel <br />Discussion at the Library meeting room will be led by Bridget Bacon and a <br />panel discussion of some of you and Felicity who is our grad student <br />working on demolitions in Louisville. <br />o Saturday, May 7, 2016, 10:00 am — Landmarking Ceremony. We will <br />meet at 613 Grant Avenue. Mayor Muckle will be attending. <br />o Monday, May 16, 2016 — HPC Meeting <br />o Farmer's Market Schedule — dates not determined <br />o Monday, June 20, 2016 — Lauren Trice will not be here. If there is no <br />pressing matter that requires a time sensitive matter such as a demolition, <br />we can postpone the meeting and move everything to the July 20, 2016. <br />We can also discuss moving the meeting to June 27, 2016. <br />o Joint HPC and Historical Commission work session. Decisions could <br />be made. Discussion on HPC d and work at the museum.
