Call to Order: The meeting was called to order at 6:34 pm by Dan Delahunty, <br /> Chair. Minutes were taken by Mary Ann Heaney. <br /> a. Roll Call: (Members present in bold): Mary Ann Heaney, Mark Persichetti; <br /> Justine Vigil-Tapia; Jamie Bartlett; Marianne Martin (joined at 7:03 pm), Allison <br /> Johanson, Dan Delahunty, City-Staff Liaison Dave Szabados; City-Council <br /> Liaison Jay Keany. Public: Rob Debarros (citizen), Lea Yancy (Boulder County) <br /> b. Approval of Current Meeting Agenda: Approved. <br /> c. Approval of Past Month's Minutes: Approved. <br /> d. Public Comments on Items Not on the Agenda: <br /> Lea Yancy provided updates on Louisville's participation in several Boulder County <br /> programs: Two Louisville residents purchased electric cars using rebates from <br /> Boulder County (out of 48 cars total). 18 Louisville residents signed up for the <br /> solar program discounting rooftop systems. In the high efficiency toilet program, <br /> 27 Louisville residents participated out of 400 county residents. <br /> e. Jay's Minute: Not present. <br /> f. Dave's Minute: A grant from the Air Quality Council was used to purchase one <br /> electric city vehicle. Excel selected Louisville to participate in Partners in Energy <br /> Program. Louisville Chamber of Commerce invited LSAB members to volunteer at <br /> the Taste of Louisville, in 2-hour shifts, to help with the Zero Waste effort. The <br /> event is Saturday June 4th (9am - 4pm). Anyone interested should call <br /> 303.666.5747 <br /> II. Review comments from study session <br /> Mark summarized comments from the study session: <br /> • Council asked LSAB to detail tasks and duties in the proposal for the <br /> sustainability coordinator's position. <br /> • Council recommended LSAB participate in, and advocate for, sustainability <br /> during design of the rec center expansion. Mary Ann said that she had <br /> discussed sustainability issues with the architect and Jeff Lipton during the <br /> open house.
