as the legal advisor to a variety of departments including the Loveland Police <br /> Department, Airport Commission, Parks and Recreation, Loveland Fire and Rescue <br /> Authority, Code Enforcement, Liquor Licensing, Museum, Library, Open Lands <br /> acquisition, CORA/CJRA and Risk Management. I also draft intergovernmental <br /> agreements, contracts, policies, resolutions and ordinances for these departments. <br /> I also have a private practice with a current emphasis in providing judicial and quasi- <br /> judicial services to governmental entities. I serve the Towns of Hudson and Wellington <br /> as presiding municipal judge and I am an associate (back up) judge for Greeley, <br /> Windsor and Fort Collins. I also serve as the Liquor Authority for the Town of Windsor <br /> and City of Commerce City and as a hearing officer for marijuana business licensing in <br /> Commerce City. <br /> Previous practice areas included family law, court appointed counsel in dependency <br /> and neglect cases, court appointed alternate defense counsel, business and nonprofit <br /> organization, liquor licensing, wills and trusts, and civil litigation. <br /> 10. If so, please <br /> state what percentage of your total practice your trial practice constituted and the types of <br /> matters handled. <br /> As an Assistant City Attorney, I regularly file objections to and argue against <br /> subpoenas duces tecum for confidential information and motions for disposition of <br /> property in state District Courts on behalf of the City and the Police Department. Most <br /> of the City's civil litigation is handled by outside counsel, though I do assist with <br /> discovery requests and review all pleadings. <br /> As a presiding and associate judge, I preside over trials to the court, jury trials, and <br /> licensing hearings. <br /> 12. Summarize your experience presiding over or serving as an advocate in adversary <br /> proceedings before administrative boards or commissions. <br /> As an Assistant City Attorney Loveland, and in previous employment with Fort Collins, <br /> I regularly appeared before the Liquor Authority representing the police and City in <br /> contested application and suspension hearings. <br /> I have presided over liquor licensing matters in Fort Collins and Windsor and marijuana <br /> business licensing matters in Boulder and Commerce City. <br /> 13.
