City of Louisville Employee Survey <br /> July 2008 <br /> Job Satisfaction <br /> Eight survey items were included in the factor"job satisfaction."The overall average rating for job <br /> satisfaction was 66 on the 100-point scale, or"somewhat" agree. For the most part,Louisville <br /> employees were satisfied with their job. <br /> Overall, a majority of employees found real enjoyment in their work (88% "somewhat" or <br /> "strongly" agreed), felt positive about working for the City (85%) and were very satisfied with their <br /> job (83%). Fewer respondents agreed that there were adequate opportunities for career advancement <br /> (30%). One-third of respondents "strongly" disagreed that they have opportunities to advance in <br /> their career.
