Over the years I have served on a number of boards and given presentations to a number of organizations. In the 1990's I was on the board and an executive member of the Boulder Valley YMCA for six years. I served as an elder at First Presbyterian Church, Boulder, Colorado from about 2003 until 2006. I have given many presentations to legal organizations including seminars for the Boulder County Bar Association, at the annual state judges' conferences, to the Colorado Municipal Judges' Association at one of their conferences, and have spoken at Optimist clubs, Mother House, and numerous schools. 17. No, I have not served in the military. As previously stated, I was the Associate Judge in Lafayette for approximately 9 years, the Presiding Judge in Louisville for 12 years, and a Boulder County Judge for 15 years. E. A Louisville municipal judge is expected to use computer technology for a wide variety of functions including word processing, legal research, case management, e -filing and e-mail.
