S. Hwy.
36 interchange, while at the same time providing easy and convenient access to
downtown Louisville. Any annexation or subdivision request shall be compatible with
extension of a four land arterial roadway section as generally described on the
attached exhibit.

Wood stated that the Planning Commission reviewed the amendment at a public hearing on June 28th
and by a vote of 4 - 0 recommended approval to the City Council without amendment.

Davidson called for Council comments or questions.

Howard wondered, if by adding this amendment to the Comp Plan, did it force this particular route
on any particular development.

Tom Phare, Public Works Director, stated that any activity on that parcel just to the west of CTC
would have to accommodate this particular alignment or one close to it to see that the connection is
made to arterial standard.

Sisk wondered if it was mandated that it had to be a four lane road.

Phare stated that that would be his recommendation.

Lathrop moved that Council amend the South Sub-Area Comprehensive Plan to include the 96th
Street corridor proposal. Seconded by Mayer. All in favor.

RESOLUTION NO. 34, SERIES 1994 - FINAL SUBDIVISION PLAT AND PUD
DEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR ALVENUS PARK (CONTINUED FROM 6/21/94)
