LCityof Louisville COLORADO • SINCE 1878 VII. Public Comments on Items Not on the Agenda: There was concern expressed regarding development of the city's gateways and signage. This will be added to a future PPLAB agenda. VIII. Park Sign Project. Presented by Allan Gill, Parks Project Manager: The Park Sign Replacement Program is continuing the ongoing theme and consistency of city signs. There is money allocated for 4 large signs and the board recommended the following parks to receive the new signs: Meadows Park, Cleo Murdock, Miners, and Joe Carnival. It was agreed that over a 5 year plan all parks should receive signage with either large or small signs according to park size. IX. Update on Arboretum Bathroom Project. Presented by Allan Gill, Parks Project Manager: Current completion of a pre -fabricated restroom at the Arboretum is scheduled for January 2017. It's a single building with 4 unisex stalls. X. Louisville Parks Scorecard Discussion: This was postponed for the next meeting. XI. Board Mission Statement and Bylaws Discussion and Adoption: The PPLAB Bylaws (Option 2) were approved and amended as follows: #2. The word "assist" will be changed to "advise" Adding #7. To educate the public regarding parks and public landscaping practices appropriate for Louisville. The Mission Statement was postponed for the next meeting. XII. Agenda Items for Next Meeting: 1) Discussion of existing Integrated Weed Management Plan: please read this at www.louisvilleco.gov and then go to Open Space Division. 2) Parks Scorecard. 3) Board Mission Statement Discussion and Adoption. This agenda will be postponed if there is a joint meeting with the Open Space Advisory Board at the regularly scheduled PPLAB September meeting. XIII.
