City Council <br />Meeting Minutes <br />August 16, 2016 <br />Page 2 of 12 <br />City Clerk Muth read Section 2.90.050, the public statement from the Louisville <br />Municipal Code, governing the topics that may be discussed in an executive session. <br />City Attorney Light stated the authority for conducting an Executive Session is the <br />Louisville Code of Ethics, Section 5-2(b), CRS 24-6-402(4)(a) - Authorized Topics. City <br />Manager is Requesting the City Council Convene an Executive Session for the Purpose <br />of Consideration of Potential Real Property Acquisitions and Dispositions Concerning <br />Property in Louisville. <br />MOTION: Mayor Muckle moved the City Council convene an executive session for the <br />purpose of consideration of potential real property acquisition and disposition <br />concerning property in Louisville and the executive session include members of the City <br />Council, City Manager, the Economic Development Director, and the City Attorney, <br />seconded by Council member Keany. All in favor. The Council adjourned to executive <br />session at 6:03 p.m. The special meeting was reconvened at 7:07 p.m. <br />REPORT — DISCUSSION/DIRECTION/ACTION — <br />REAL PROPERTY ACQUISITION AND DISPOSITION <br />City Attorney Light reported on the executive session, the City Council discussed real <br />property acquisition and disposition. Council discussed strategy with the City Attorney <br />and staff on how to proceed. If the negotiations result in a contract, it will be brought <br />back for Council consideration at a future public meeting. <br />Adjourned to Regular Meeting 7:09 PM <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />Call to Order — Mayor Muckle called the meeting to order at 7:09 p.m. <br />Roll Call was taken and the following members were present: <br />City Council: Mayor Robert Muckle, Mayor Pro Tem Lipton; City <br />Councilmembers Jay Keany, Chris Leh, Sue Loo, <br />Dennis Maloney, Ashley Stolzmann <br />Staff Present: Malcolm Fleming, City Manager <br />Heather Balser, Deputy City Manager <br />Kevin Watson, Finance Director <br />Aaron DeJong, Economic Development Director <br />Robert Zuccaro, Planning & Building Safety Director <br />Lauren Trice, Planner l <br />Scott Robinson, Planner 11 <br />Kurt Kowar, Public Works Director <br />
