Call to order: Commission Chair Dan Mellish called the meeting to order at 6:32 <br />pm. <br />II. Roll call: <br />Commission Members Present: Dan Mellish, Gordon Madonna, Betty Scarpella, <br />Paula Elrod, Julie VanLaanen, and Jon Ferris <br />Commission Members Absent: Lynn Koglin <br />City Representatives Present: <br />Bridget Bacon, Museum Coordinator <br />Beth Barrett, Director of Library and Museum Services <br />Jay Keany, City Council liaison <br />Heather Balser, Deputy City Manager <br />Other Individuals Present: <br />Catherine Wessling, Louisville History Foundation Secretary <br />Debby Fahey, Historic Preservation Commission Member <br />III. Approval of agenda: Members approved the agenda. <br />IV. Public comments: None <br />V. Approval of May 4, 2016 regular meeting minutes: Minutes were approved <br />VI. Visit by Rec Task Force member: The City Council is considering a bond issue on <br />the November ballot to expand the Recreation/Senior Center and upgrade <br />Memory Square Pool.
