Commissioner Fisher <br />seconded the motion. The motion was approved unanimously. <br />d. LRC Study Session Memo with City Council January 13, 2015: <br />Highlights and successes — <br />Commissioner Menaker would like to highlight most up to date information about <br />BNSF. <br />This is the year the LRC became revenue positive. <br />Funding of regional detention <br />Menaker will present this section <br />What worked well? <br />Chair Becker will present <br />Highlight relationship with developer <br />Highlight funding of regional detention <br />What did not work well? <br />BNSF issue - Happy to finally have representative who understands the urgency. <br />National entities are difficult to work with, it is a challenging process. <br />City Manager Fleming said Council is aware of BNSF issues. <br />List plans and goals for next year: <br />Assist in Village Square — we'll be having conversations with owners/developers. <br />Hopeful Brasel will bring a plan forward. Staff is expecting an application from <br />them. <br />Hwy 42 reconstruction should be mentioned. <br />Chair Becker asked if we as a commission want to initiate conversations with <br />property owners. Discussion began. Staff will discuss projects with property <br />owners that are of interest to the LRC.
