Howard moved that Council accept the access easement for Lot 3, Coal Train Square, and Lot 1, <br />Coal Train Square second filing, subject to the language changes, including the ones made by Mr. <br />Hartronfi. Seconded by Mayer. Roll call was taken. Motion passed by a 7 - 0 vote. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1161, SERIES 1994 - VACATION OF A PORTION OF ABANDONED <br />ACME MINE SPUR RIGHT-OF-WAY EAST OF ROOSEVELT AVENUE, WEST OF MAIN <br />STREET - TRI-CITY ELKS - 1ST READING - SET PUBLIC HEARING - 10/18/94 <br /> <br />Gfiffiths read by title only Ordinance No. 1161, Series 1994, "An Ordinance vacating a portion of the <br />Acme Mine Spur located in the southeast 1/4 of Section 8, Township 1 South, Range 69 west of the <br />6th P.M. within the City of Louisville, Colorado." <br /> <br />Paul Wood, Planning Director, stated that this joint request between the Benevolent and Protective <br />Order of Elks, 525 Main Street, Louisville, Colorado, and Mr. and Mrs. Monroe, 832 Parkview <br />Street, Louisville, had been submitted to vacate a portion of the old,' abandoned Acme Mine Spur <br />between Roosevelt and Main Street. It is approximately 4,549 s.f in area (55' x 118'). The Planning <br />Commission held a public hearing on August 8, 1994, and they approved, by a vote of 5 - 0, <br />Resolution No. 33 with four conditions of approval. Conditions one and three had been addressed <br />by this vacation ordinance. Condition two would prohibit fencing or obstruction of the ditch <br />easement. Condition four required that the Tri-City Elks would provide a minimum of 30 days <br />notice, prior to the commencement of parking lot improvements to affected property owners, to allow <br />for utility upgrades. Wood recommended that, if approved, conditions two and four be done by <br />separate agreements. <br /> <br />Davidson called for Council questions. <br /> <br />Ca/friths recommended that the separate agreements for conditions two and four be completed prior <br />to second reading. <br /> <br />Howard moved that Council place Ordinance No. 1161, Series 1994, out for publication and set a <br />public heating for October 18, 1994, with amendments nos. two and four to be handled as separate <br />agreements prior to second reading. Seconded by Keany. All in favor. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 51, SERIES 1994 - WOOD TECHNOLOGY FINAL PUD <br />DEVELOPMENT PLAN - COLORADO TECH. CENTER - ACINAR CONSTRUCTION <br /> <br />Paul Wood, Planning Director, stated that this would authorize construction of a 9,900 s.f. industrial <br />building, with future expansion potential of 14, 940 s.f. for Wood Technology, Inc., on Lot 9, Block <br />2 of the Colorado Tech Center at the southwest corner of Pierce Avenue and Cherry Street. The <br />property is zoned Industrial and is just over an acre in area. The Planning Commission held a public <br />hearing September 13, 1994, and approved the PUD by a vote of 6 - 0 without conditions. <br /> <br />Davidson called for the applicant's presentation. <br /> <br />4 <br /> <br /> <br />
