Jeff Kline, ACINAR Construction, and representatives for Wood Technology were there for any <br />questions. <br /> <br />Davidson called for Council questions. <br /> <br />Sisk wondered about the dust collection system. <br /> <br />Steve Strachan, 294 Wedgerock Drive, Lyons, Colorado, stated that the dust collection system is <br />being engineered by Air Century in Denver. It will be designed to handle current machinery, as well <br />as future expanded needs. There will be external bag houses with filtering devices. <br /> <br />Sisk moved that Council approve Resolution No. 51, Series 1994. Seconded by Howard. Roll call <br />was taken. Motion passed by a 7 - 0 vote. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1162, SERIES 1994 - REZONING APPROXIMATELY 170 ACRES <br />FROM INDUSTRIAL (I), AND COMMUNITY BUSINESS (CB) TO PLANNED <br />COMMUNITY BUSINESS (CB) TO PLANNED COMMUNITY ZONED DISTRICT (PCZD) <br />- COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT GROUP OF LOUISVILLE - KNOLLWOOD - 1ST <br />READING PUBLIC HEARING - SET 2ND READING PUBLIC HEARING - 11/1/94 <br /> <br />Griftiths read by title only Ordinance No. 1162, Series 1994, "An ordinance amending Title 17 of the <br />Louisville Municipal Code entitled "Zoning" by rezoning certain property located generally south of <br />State Highway 42, west of 104th Street, north of Cherry Street, and east of the Burlington Northern <br />Railroad tracks." <br /> <br />Paul Wood, Planning Director, stated that the applicant, Community Development Group of <br />Louisville, represented by Chuck Bellock and Jon Lee, was requesting the rezoning of approximately <br />170 acres of industrial and commercial business property to PCZD and the approval of a General <br />Development Plan defining the planning area and uses. Approximately 30 acres will be PCZD-Open <br />Space. The Planning Commission held a public hearing August 18, 1994, and voted to approve a <br />motion disapproving: <br /> <br />1.) <br /> <br />A request to rezone approximately 170 acres from Industrial (I) and Commercial <br />Business (CB) to Planned Community Zoned District (PCZD); <br />A General Development Plan designating 119 acres - Planned Residential (P-R), 30 <br />acres - Planned Open Space (P-OS), and 20 acres - Planned Industrial (P-I). <br /> <br />Wood stated that the motion also contained the direction of Planning Commission to disapprove the <br />Preliminary Subdivision Plat and PUD. The Planning Commission findings were approved September <br />13, 1994. He commented that, if new information was received by Council, it be forwarded to the <br />Planning Commission. Staffs recommendation was that the findings of the Planning Commission be <br />upheld. If Council determined that new information should be reviewed prior to action at first <br /> <br /> <br />
