TIMES 10/12/94, 10/19/94, <br />AND 10/26/94) <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 58, SER1-ES 1994 - SUMMARIZING EXPENDITURES AND <br />REVENUES FOR EACH FUND AND ADOPTING A BUDGET FOR THE CITY OF <br />LOUISVILI.E, COLORADO, FOR THE CALENDAR YEAR BEGINNING ON TItE <br />FIRST DAY OF JANUARY 1995 AND ENDING ON THE LAST DAY OF <br />DECEMBER 1995. <br /> <br />Sharon Asti-Caranci, acting City Administrator, stated that she would give one presentation for this <br />and the following three items relating to the Budget. She commented that 1995 Budget provided for <br />the total scope of city operations, debt service payments, and capital improvements. The total <br />Budget, $22,553,995, was in balance in all funds. Included in the 1995 Budget was a 4% increase <br />for water tap fees and a 4% increase for service expansion fees. There were no tax increases <br />recommended in the 1995 Budget. She reviewed the Budget. She stated that the 1995 Budget was <br />not only in compliance with the Tabor Amendment, but was 8.9% below the limits of the <br />Amendment. The 1995 Budget also included the 3% reserve that was required by the Tabor <br />Amendment. <br /> <br />Davidson opened the public hearing calling for anyone wishing to speak on Resolution No. 58, 59, <br />or 60. <br /> <br />NONE <br /> <br />Davidson closed the public hearing and called for Council comments. <br /> <br />Howard wondered if property taxes increased or decreased. <br /> <br />Asti-Caranci stated that the mill levy was staying the same. She commented that the Louisville <br />property owner should see a decrease, because the assessment rate of residential property is going <br />to 10% or 11%.
