John Waschak, 637 West Hawthorne Street, Louisville, Colorado, felt it was very rude and unprofessional that Councilmen ate and drank beverages at the Council meetings and Work Sessions. He felt it should cease. He also felt any items the city purchased should come from local vendors. Concerning the city raising the water rates, he felt the rates were high enough. He asked what happened to the city's project of paving the alleys. Tom Phare, Public Works Director, stated that there are three alleys that are part of this year's paving project. If weather permits, they will pave them. If not, they would be carried over to 1995. Davidson explained that he had already instructed the Acting City Administrator to stop buying snacks. The city has a written bidding process and preference is given to city vendors. Davidson called for anyone else wishing to speak. NONE COUNCIL INFORMATIONAL COMMENTS ON PERTINENT ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA Lathrop commended Public Works and Building Inspection Departments, and Wycon Construction for getting Pine Street reopened.
