ORDINANCE NO. 1175, SERIES 1994 - AUTHORIZING THE LEASE OF A <br />PORTION OF PINE STREET ADJOINING THE EAST 87.5 FEET OF THE SOUTH <br />HALF OF LOT 21, BLOCK 5, TOWN OF LOUISVILLE, TO SHERI S. LEVINE <br /> <br />Griffiths read by title only Ordinance No. 1175, Series 1994, "An ordinance authorizing the lease of <br />a portion of Pine Street adjoining the east 87.5 feet of the south half of Lot 21, Block 5, Town of <br />Louisville, to Sheri S. Levine." <br /> <br />Lathrop moved that Council pass Ordinance No. 1174 on first reading and set the public hearing for <br />January 17, 1995. Seconded by Sisk. All in favor. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 67, SERIES 1994 - LOUISVILLE SPORTS COMPLEX <br /> <br />Steve Baysinger, Parks & Recreation Director, stated that in accordance with the IGA for the <br />Lastoka property, Louisville may develop up to 24 acres for a sports complex. In order to annex the <br />land, the City of Louisville must first obtain ownership. Quit Claim Deeds are being executed by the <br />City of Louisville, Lafayette, and Boulder County to convey ownership of the property to Louisville. <br />Additionally, Louisville is providing Lafayette and Boulder County with a conservation easement for <br />the site. Louisville will also be entering into a letter of understanding between the parties to set <br />proportionate shares of the remaining properties. <br /> <br />Susan Griffiths, City Attorney, stated that the documents are consistent with the IGA. <br /> <br />Howard moved that Council adopt Resolution No. 67, Series 1994, Louisville Sports Complex. <br />Seconded by Levihn. Roll call was taken. Motion passed by a 7 - 0 vote. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF AWARD OF 1995 CUSTODIAL SERVICES FOR LOUISVILLE <br />RECREATION CENTER <br /> <br />Steve Baysinger, Parks & Recreation Director, reviewed the rates and expected expenditures. <br /> <br />Mayer wanted to monitor the services and any complaints received, to be reviewed next year during <br />budget time, along with the fees, to make sure the city was providing a sufficient level of service. <br /> <br />Howard moved that Council award the 1995 custodial contract for services to Porter Industries, Inc. <br />Seconded by Lathrop. Roll call was taken. Motion passed by a 7 - 0 vote. <br /> <br />Davidson stated that at the end of the first quarter he would like to know if the revenues and <br />expenditures are such that the contract could be expanded for what the original scope was or at least <br />some part of it. <br /> <br /> <br />
