The BRaD CommitteeEconomic Development Board's <br />goals and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: <br />- Facilitate economic development in Louisville <br />- Advocate for policies that increase economic development activity in the City <br />- Improve communications between the City and local business community <br />Share insights regarding local economic conditions <br />- Serve as a sounding board for City proposals that could impact fecal <br />busieesseseconomic development efforts <br />- Gather information regarding the needs and priorities of businesses with respect to <br />business retention and development issues <br />- Provide input on proposed programs related to business retention and development <br />Provide input on real estate development and redevelopment opportunities within the <br />City. <br />Section 2. The BoardCommittcc shall have the power to adopt policies and <br />procedures for the conduct of its activities, which shall be consistent with the provisions of the <br />City Charter, ordinances and other applicable law.
