LOUISVILLE ZONING DISTRICT MAP <br /> ZONING CATEGORIES <br /> A AGRICULTURAL <br /> This district is comprised of areas which are primarily in <br /> a natural state, used for the growing of crops and plant <br /> materials, or other farming activities. <br /> R-R RESIDENTIAL RURAL <br /> This district provides for rural character, single-family <br /> areas, primarily on the fringe of the Louisville planning area. <br /> R-E RESIDENTIAL ESTATE <br /> This district offers an alternative to urban density <br /> single-family residential areas by providing larger minimum lots. <br /> R-L RESIDENTIAL LOW DENSITY <br /> This district is comprised of urban density single-family <br /> residential areas. <br /> R-M RESIDENTIAL MEDIUM DENSITY <br /> This district is comprised of areas which are primarily used <br /> for or permit multi-family development at duplex or townhouse <br /> densities. <br /> R-H RESIDENTIAL HIGH DENSITY <br /> This district is comprised of areas primarily used for. <br /> multi-unit residential development at apartment densities. <br /> C-N COMMERCIAL NEIGHBORHOOD <br /> This district is to accomodate mixed residential and <br /> commercial uses. Uses in this district shall be strictly <br /> reviewed to ensure computability with surrounding areas. <br /> C-C COMMERCIAL COMMUNITY <br /> This district is comprised of areas providing for a <br /> restricted range and a limited variety of retail sales and <br /> services. <br /> C-B COMMERCIAL BUSINESS <br /> This district is comprised of areas providing for a full <br /> range and a complete variety of retail sales and services. <br /> I INDUSTRIAL., <br /> wit in this district are primarily developed fors non- <br /> offensive types of industry, processing, and 'manufacturing <br /> activities. <br /> O OFFICE <br /> This district is principally for non-retail use of a <br /> personal service nature. It is intended to be low intensity in <br /> terms of traffic, advertising and hours of operation and shall be <br /> compatible with surrounding uses. <br /> PCZD PLANNED COMMUNITY ZONING DISTRICT <br /> This district is a single zone which provides for mixed <br /> uses. The purposes and regulations of the various areas within <br /> the PCZD, denoted P-A, etc. , differ from those of the above <br /> listed districts. The Department of Community Development can <br /> provide further information. <br />
